Re-creation of the 1960 original

Launched in December 1960, the inaugural Grand Seiko marked a significant advancement in Japanese fine watchmaking. Emblazoned with a lion emblem, symbolizing the ambition of Grand Seiko's founding team, this watch remains a timeless inspiration, driving Grand Seiko's pursuit of excellence over 60 years later.

The SBGW314 introduces a limited edition re-creation of this iconic timepiece. Crafted in elegant 18k rose gold, its navy-blue dial, reminiscent of a "starry night," exudes sophistication. The indexes are also sculpted from solid rose gold, as denoted by the star on the dial.

Slightly larger than its predecessor, this modern re-creation measures 38mm in diameter and 10.9mm thick, offering both comfort and versatility for everyday wear. It comes with a solid rose gold three-fold clasp and two crocodile straps, providing options for contemporary or classic styling.

Powered by the precise Caliber 9S64, this manually wound movement offers remarkable accuracy and a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. Encased in sapphire crystal, its beauty and performance are showcased elegantly.

2-Week Returns and Exchanges

Products may be returned to Grand Seiko Boutique Online within 14 days of the delivery date. Option for a return and refund or exchange is possible when the watch is returned in new, unworn condition, with all original contents included in the package. Upon receiving your return, Grand Seiko will verify the condition of the watch. If there are any missing items, damage, or wear found, you may be subject to fees accordingly. Please be sure to remove any jewelry or other watches before trying on the watch to avoid damage.  Please do not size the watch if you return it as it will not be considered new. Exclusive 6-Year Warranty

Warranty – All Grand Seiko watches come with a 5-year international warranty. Grand Seiko Boutiques and Grand Seiko Boutique Online provide an additional 1-year warranty at no additional charge for a total of 6 years coverage under the limited warranty. Please see the TERMS for more.
